Wow, that's a tough one as there are around 60 versions of this CD & not all of them are good. Take a look here & you'll probably find the one that you'll be happy with:

Cyril (or anyone else, for that matter),

Did you hear Dave's concert on XM radio (real jazz) a few weeks ago? That was a classic. The audience loved him. He's getting to be in his late 80's, and he's still performing.

Cyril,

Below is 'preamble' to the broadcast. During the broadcast, they interviewed Ramsey Lewis. Ramsey said 'Here's this jazz artist in his late 80's (I'm thinking they recorded this concert 2 yrs ago), and he looks feeble, moving slowly, and talking softly. But when he sits down at the keyboards, he acts like a 30 yr old.' I'm glad I had the opportunity to listen to the concert. The audience loved this 'landmark' of jazz history.

December 6 is not only Dave Brubecks's 89th birthday but also the day he's honored by President Obama at the annual Kennedy Center Honors. While the television broadcast isn't until December 29th, Real Jazz celebrates with an encore performance of Live From Jazz at Lincoln Center with Brubeck sharing the bill with another legendary pianist, Ramsey Lewis. Other Kennedy Center honorees this year include a giant of the movies in Robert De Niro, a giant of rock in Bruce Springsteen, a giant in comedy in Mel Brooks and one of the biggest names in jazz, the legendary Dave Brubeck.
