David,
What's lost are the other 25,000 people who aren't sitting in your living room listening to the music. A Springsteen concert is a real high energy event, to say the least.

I've seen Bruce 4 times. The last time I saw Bruce was December 1996 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. It was a solo acoustic tour and he was amazing. The sound and the playlist was great. His voice, guitar playing, harmonica, and piano was excellent. There was a who's who list of musicians who attended the show. It was a night of musical bliss.

Dave

I have to retract my statement about not buying Rolling Stones music anymore. I ordered the Rolling Stones remaster of Big Hits: High Tide and Green Grass, and I have enjoyed the heck out of listening to the original versions of "Satisfaction", "Time Is On My Side", "19th Nervous Breakdown", "Heart Of Stone" and others. This is good stuff.

Dan,

I just purchased a remastered version of the Doors and Neil Young's greatest hits remastered, both very enjoyable. Its like a trip down memory lane when I listen only without the hiss or crackles.

Tom Morello made history with his band "Rage against the Machine"...and deservedly so.

If you set aside the politics, The song "Killing in the name" still throws a mighty punch, even after 18 years

I just saw Tom Morello jam for the first time on HBO's Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame concert last month, simply stunning!

Ever heard of Rage Against the Machine or Audioslave?

Personally, I think he did his best work by far with Audioslave. But then again, that's under the leadership of Chris Cornell who in my opinion is nothing less than a music genius, musically and lyrically.
