Finally, the eagle has landed for me! Just took delivery of the 808 and 911 monos. Can't wait to set it up. Still a lot of work to do. have to custom make a new equipment cabinet. I like wood and it will be Burmese teak for me. May take a month or so to complete. Also need to put in a 32-amp line to handle the 8KVA transformer which I just bought. I hope to put the whole system in order in about a month's time. In the meantime, I'll just set it up temporarily just to have a taste of the burmester sound. The coming weekend will be interesting.

Yes indeed, they do sound pretty awesome and bear in mind, these guys are just fresh out of the oven! I've never heard the extremas sound so good! More to come when I properly set up my system.
I heard the 808 and 911 monos driving the Q3s at my dealer's showroom and my jaw literally dropped! I'll be looking at the Q5 next.
