It seems that Shindo and its distributors do whatever they can to sell complete systems and keep Shindo in a very narrow sound school, and they do not want to see Shindo among "unsacred" brands.
could it be that you are fishing in muddy water ?

This should be fun.
Yes indeed, the Homage is a class of its own. There are better speakers, but no one comes close in reproducing the musician plays his music.

I played the Montille with the Guarneri Homage and the combo sounded great. I never felt the need for more power but, then again, my listening room is only 11x14x9.

The Homage are the best looking speakers I've ever owned and they sounded fantastic. However, the Cortese + Tannoy match is even better in terms of deliciousness. It probably gives up a bit in terms neutrality, but more than makes up for it in term of rich, delicious sound.

I loved the McIntosh + Guarneri Homage configuration but I adore the Shindo + Tannoy, because it not only matches, but surpasses, the ideal sound I had in my head.

If you are considering a speaker change, I strongly urge you to look at Tannoy's - if you like the looks. There's something to those concentric drivers that makes a big difference.

Agree the Tannoy Kingdom Royal's at Newport yesterday were the standout performers.

Thanks Alberto for your feedback. Good to see you here from time to time. I have no doubt the Tannoy is a match made in heaven for the Shindo. My system resides in the living room, so I got to make the family happy first. They are pretty happy about the GM.
