New update from Canton .. I have to wait another month. I guess I was "lucky" I didn't have to wait on them to build a pair. One month wait for them to return back to work from EU vacation. Another 3-4 weeks via a shipping container. Another 10 days via freight. Will probably be 8-10 weeks all in.

Somehow this is considered "normal" in the world of high end audio!

Unfortunately, this happens and often is longer. A friend of mine wound up waiting well over 6 months for a pair of Avalon Sagas, with many rescheduled ETAs along the way.

You could always inquire with the dealer to see if they would air freight them to San Francisco. Just like UPS or FEDEX company contracts, many manufacturers have shipping agreements with air transportation companies at greatly reduced costs.

The Raidhos I had were air freighted via Scandinavian Airlines direct from Copenhagen to Charlotte - 2 days in customs and delivered the 3d day.

Neither I nor my dealer asked for that mode -- Raidho just did it (not sure if their big boys are sent that means).

Best Sir & hang in there.

Bob
