Hi guys, I am potentially starting my Accuphase Journey and would like to get your thoughts. My speakers are B&W 803 and I am looking to upgrade my pre and amp (currently running Classe CP500 with CA2200). For the amp, I am undecided between Accuphase P-7300 and McIntosh 452. Any experience and thoughts on them? Will they be significant improvement over the Classe? In my area, the price between the MC and Accuphase are pretty close. Thanks in advance!

When I compared Classé and McIntosh, the former was superior by quite a margin. The Accuphase should be quite an improve the over the `Classes though

Today I've replaced my DP-550 by a DP-720, which I could buy from a friend of mine.
I love it.

Hello!
I gonna tell my story.
When i was a kid. My father’s friend has an accuphase amp and turner. And i remember to play with the buttons and dials.
20 years after that. That guy. Move to Bang and Olufsen. And the Accuphase equipent went to live in the attic.
A month ago. I ask him if he wants to sell the Amp. I said. “I have 350 dolars for you”
And he said yes.
He bring the amp and as a gift. The turner.
Now i own the equipment that i love as a kid.
E-303 and T-103.
I hope you undertand my crappy english. Hahahah

Hello
I concur. I recently added a C2850 preamp in my system and with the A70 it's a wonderful combo. I was previously using my dac as a preamp and no doubt it's much better with the 2850. And it's also a very good headphone amp .

Modest beginnings here. Back in the early '90s I was going thru multiple tuners to find the 'best' (to my ears). Had a nice T-100 followed by a few months later by a T-101. Both were too close the McIntosh tuner sound (too warm, with flubby bass) to hold on to. About 7yr ago I ran across a 'deal' on a T-106 tuner. After having several of the "best" other brands of tuners recapped and upgraded, the stock T-106 came into my system and immediately stood at the top of the class for sound. After a couple of years it lost its way and could no longer figure out stereo broadcasts. Had it recapped with modern caps and aligned after the cold solder joint was repaired. My other tuners are good, but not as good.

The T-106 has been back in my system for 2+ years. Thank you Warren Bendler for your excellent work and Bob Fitzgerald for supplying the service manual.

About six months ago we decided we need to move into our condo to rid ourselves of any "house" responsibilities so we could travel. Needed to downsize my system and contacted Ivan about an E-270 w/AD-50 phono-card. Have had for almost 2mon and it does everything I need.
