For you Montis owners, how well does the auto on/off circuit work? I read one review that stated it caused the first few seconds of a track to be missed.

Same for the Summit X. Starting from sleep mode cut of a little bit of the first song.

That's a serious design flaw. I have a tube amp--I wonder if its slightly elevated noise level (compared to solid state) would be enough to wake it up. I'd hate to have to restart a recording after every extended period of not listening!

No, i´m sure that Tube noise won´t do the job. Maybe if you cut the power completely and switch the montis on before you want to hear music, will work.

The noise the summit/summit-x/montis active digital amp produce is a more serious design flaw to me.

But i still love them!

I guess HV charging takes some time, Music Sense can't know in advance when the music will start. Mine will switch on simultaneously when switching on amp, must be some click noise coming out of amp to trigger on.
One could always give a few minutes warm up time with background music prior to serious listening.
