Jason you are right, McIntosh is certainly no slouch, i'm sure will make the M3's sing.

To everyone else who commented; I will certainly look into all of those amps and I appreciate your guys' input.

Met someone tonight who owns the M3's and drives his gear with Devialet, and loves it.

Today, I listened to the S7's with Boulder 2150 monos with the 2100 series pre-amp. They had Nordost Oden 2 interconnects and SC's with Valhalla PC's. Holy crap, that was a stunning sound. Those boulder amps are out of this world in terms of transparency. I may look into the 1100 series of monoblocks that are coming out soon.

This will be an awesome journey! I'm very glad to share it with everyone on this forum.

Special shout out to Ivan, who makes this forum possible for us!
Congrats on the M3, Doc!!

I can attest to the Boulder... oh yeahhhhh

I'm curious what you thought of the Alexx in your auditions. I've heard it, its remarkable. Was it near the top of your list, and what made you go with magico? Maybe you can comment on the Alexia's also.

Go ahead, I can take it [emoji23]

Marc, I hear ya. What an incredible list of hi-end speakers. Life is good in Florida. I can’t audition anything north of 10k in my entire state of Louisiana. I’m smitten with the looks of Sonus faber Il Cremonese and based on reviews it’s without flaw.

Another brand not yet mentioned here is Analog Domain. One of our AA friends has a terrific system with their DAC and 2 amps in mono configuration.

Happy hunting!

Congratulations Aditya on your M3s. I’ve always been a fan a Magicos. Great choice.

I haven’t heard the Aries Cerat amps but have heard their DAC in my system. And given Bart’s great taste in music, I’d second his choice.

I’ve owned Soulution amps and they are wonderful as well. Would certainly encourage you try them. Would also encourage you to try VAC amps with their IQ circuit, which makes owning tube amps a breeze. VAC amps are about music.

Finally, I see you’ve already invested in a solid power foundation. Thumbs up!

Best wishes. Enjoy your M3s in good health!

Jason

I feel your pain. I don’t think it’s just Lousiana. it’s hard to hear these speakers in most places! I did a lot of traveling. Sometimes 4-5 hour drives. It’s worth it and you need to hear this stuff before!

Thank you so much! I appreciate it very much. I def want to try out the soulution since it seems to be a natural pairing

I’m not much into tubes but I am open to new things and new sound that I don’t know about!
