Hello All,

I've been lurking on here for a while now and have come across quite a bit of useful information and feedback about our hobby. Relative to some of the setups I've read about on here my system is quite modest. I currently am running a computer based setup from my Mac Book Pro to a Wavelink USB > SPDIF converter. From there I go into a Bryston BDA-1 then on to an Audio Research LS17 SE. Then it's back to Bryston with the 4BSST2 and finally the Aerial Acoustics Model 6's. My newest addition is power conditioning with Shunyata Talos and Cobra Z Tron cables. Not an inexpensive addition, but one that I can go forward with and have confidence in for many years.
I think the advice I value and am seeking the most on this forum is how to get my beautiful wife more on board with this hobby. Any suggestions are welcome and will surely result in aural bliss for yours truly.

Welcome to the forum! great choice in speakers with the VA's. I loved how they sounded when I heard them! Hopefully the wife doesn't stay mad for too long. Just tell her that you'll plan something nice, take her out for a night, and make a special night. The next day get your speakers while she's sleeping and tell her it was the audio fairy and you had nothing to do with it.

As for the wife, I believe the three P solution is highly recommended and usually quite successful. The Purchase Porsche Program has been successfully adopted by at least one on this site, and certainly many more who remain mum.
