Fortunately, only did Torrejón to Palermo on a C130. Those net seats are not the best of accommodations. And, we did not get fed. The C-5A from Okinawa to Travis was much better. Just like a civilian airliner, except sitting backwards.

Seriously, if you fly transPacific try to get on an A380. Comfortable and plenty of room to walk around. A good design.

I have not been to the Caribbean . Unless you count Cozumel. What do you like the best?

Doug - Check out Roatan.

Ill be going for a week soon. I've been all through Mexico and the Caribbean. Some great areas in the BVIS but after staying in Roatan the last two years I am going back again. It has a very relaxed climate, calm waters since it is located off the second largest reef and manageable cost. Diving/snorkeling/fishing is awesome and fabulous white sand beaches. Not over crowded like Mexico has become.

And direct flights from DFW. Which is a great value for me and my wife since that is home base.
