With heavy gear, the 5's will do more of what Stillpoints do, better than the SS's. Of course, they are much more expensive, so you may decide to compromise if your budget is limited. You can always move up later, and you will easily find a new use for the SS's.

Default Stillpoints Ultra 5s and Big Monoblocks?

I find the 5's to be substantially superior to the others. The cost is the gating issue - whether the improvement is worth the cost in a particular application is system and individual dependent.

P.S. since I type slowly, MtnHam beat me to making my point and said it better.

Did you use 5's under your BAT? Can you be more specific about the effects?
