I use the Magic Eraser too, but that doesn't do enough. It's great for getting dust bunny's and hairs off, but does little to eliminate buildup that gets heat fused to the stylus assembly if not addressed.

Dean.......Do you use the Clearaudio cleaning liquid after every play or just periodically as a deep cleaner?

That remains to be seen, since I just got it. I use the Magic Eraser after each play, and the fluid every few records so far. I don't play records that haven't been through the RCM at least once, so i don't have that much problem with buildup.

Prior to this I had noticeable deposits of dust on the cantilever I couldn't remove. Now it looks pristine. When I use the brush I do squeeze off excess fluid before wiping the stylus/cantilever so there is very little fluid on it. It's effective yet safe.
