Default Post your video with Accuphase gear

Have been playing around a bit with my camera today, is anybody else working with a separate microphone installed on camera ? would like to hear any experience.

Here it is. My system playing a new song I have just downloaded. I'm very happy with it the way it is now. However, does anybody think I would have a better performance using my 707 as preamplifier and a Dan D'agostino momentum as amplifier? (this solution was offered to me). Other solutions offered to me were a deviate 200 or a burmester 087 in exchange of my e-560. Could these integrated amplifiers improve my sound quality?

Nice video. It's softer music than I'm used to, but very clean and pure sound without sacrificing richness there. As far as those other amps go, I would suggest listening to them first. They may not be any better than the Accuphase. In fact they could be worse.

Hi Renato,

Thx for posting the video, nice gear you have.

Your great Wilson speakers are so close to side and rear wall, that way they don't have much room to breath (+ reflections). I think there you could get the biggest improvement, not in changing amps.

Olaf,

I pretend to move to a bigger house soon. Unfortunately, this is the most difficult "upgrade" for me. On the other hand, I feel happy to know I have a real opportunity of a big improvement just changing my system to a more proper place. It cheers me up.

Best regards,

Renato

Hi Renato,

Speaker placement is so important, at the moment your not getting the max performance of your Wilsons, that's why I think it does not make sense to upgrade the amplifier.

Have you tried moving the Wilson's a bit more in the room, then the equipment rack is not between the speakers, which might give already a large improvement.

Anyway if you plan to move house, the momentum amplifier could be a very good match with the Wilsons.

Olaf

Totally agree... Get your wonderful system into a good room, then reconsider your amp.
