I had a 2014 911 Turbo S (bought new) which was sick fast and handled like a dream ... too many maintenance issues though so after 2 years and $7k miles I had to sell it. Back to Mercedes for me .. had 6 Benz and none with service issues ever. I'll get weak again someday though and get another Porsche when it can truly be a weekend only car and I don't mind it needing more service than normal.

The 991.1 is still NA. The first turbocharged engine started with the 911.2 and the 718 (I'm not talking about the Turbo and Turbo S).

And you always have the GT3 and GT3RS which are NA.

Yes, I am aware of that. I don't care for the styling of the 991.1/2 as much so mentioned 997 in general. I've owned both the 997 ('08 and '10) GT3's and 991.1 GT3RS as well but not for long. The GT3RS were way too hot in demand so I let it go to someone willing to part with a whole bunch of $$$. Let's just say it didn't engage me like I thought it would.

The 2008 997 GT3 will forever be my benchmark of what a proper sports car should sound and feel like. The later models just don't do it for me and that's OK, plenty of others are perfectly happy.

One thing I am still kicking myself for is turning down a GT3RS 4.0L and I had two lined up to buy. That would have been a true keeper not to mention they have more than doubled in price since.
