I'm with you Howie, even though CD's sound better through my dCS via transport, the Sooloos is so painless, that's the way i listen to music most of the time!

The other problem would be censoring (and selling off those CD's that are deem "not collectables"). So, a proper backup (plus another backup) would ensure longevity of files availability!

I am a firm believer in this since I found out the hard way in the loss of some 550 CD's files in my first Twinstore "wrong HDDs" being used.

Now would the ease and painless way to enjoy music rendered the same "once in a while" playback of Vinyl, thats something I would not want to discuss cause I had just spent a lot on a new TT just barely a quarter back.

Cheers!

Thought I would take a few quick snaps of my system today.

Ivan, perhaps you might like to create a sticky for pictures of all brands of gear as a complete category. It would be nice to see how people's systems evolve.

Nice pics. I like the b/w touch. Also was going through the thread show us your system. Just saw yours there and now these. It's interesting to see the differences over the years as peoples systems change.

Great photos.

Did you take those with the new Nikon D3S you said you were going to order?
