Hey Ivan, I was just wondering when you said you have PS Audio P5's and P10's connected in tandem with your PurePower units, do you mean they are actually plugged into the PurePower units or simply on the same outlet as the PurePower units? Are you by chance also using the battery expansion units?

I was also curious which PurePower model(s) you are using.

Knowing that you have both PurePower and APC units throughout your systems, do you have a preference, if so why?

Just a point concerning PurePower that you should be aware of before considering a purchase. I notice that Ivan states he's using some of the "original" PurePower units. Over the years passing since their original versions and company ownership, there have been numerous reports of problems with the company and getting service for their products. Apparently there are two different companies claiming ownership of the brand, one in Canada and one in the Far East. There have been related law suits. Many people have had issues getting support for the products, with endless promises made and not kept. Some users have waited many months for support and in the end have not been able to have issues resolved as promised, with some not even having their units returned to them. If you search for PurePower problems you will find several threads concerning these issues. Personally I wouldn't even consider getting any of their products at this point. The original versions were a different product than what is currently available and were made when there was one proper owner of the company. Now it's a case of 'buyer beware', so proceed at your own risk with caution.

Bill is spot on; I immediately stopped selling their products when this fiasco began. As far as I'm concerned, they are no longer the same company.

Wow I did not know this, thanks for the information guys. The website I ended up on was in Canada and they sell direct. I didn't encounter a Far East version.

FYI - there have been issues with both companies, but most of the problems I've heard about recently are in dealing with the Canadian company. Rod, when I saw you were considering their products I felt compelled to warn you about the situation. I'm also glad to see that Ivan agrees with my assessment, since I was initially a bit fearful about sharing information on this forum which could be perceived as being negative.

Thanks. Before you mentioned all of this I had already gone ahead and sent an e-mail to the company about their dealer network and they were very quick to respond. They said if I had any questions just ask and also advised I fill out there form with my gear so they could give an assessment as to what products I should get. I haven't heard boo since filling that out and asking a number of questions. They did say they have a 30 day money back guarantee though

Rod - After all of the problems and lies from the company that I've read about I wouldn't give any credence to their promise of a money back guarantee. Hoping that's what your smile emoticon implies!
