Congrats on the Thruxton RS. Beautiful looking bike. I hope you get to enjoy many miles riding it. I seriously considered one of the new Thruxton R's when they came out, but decided against it as I had the 2014 Thruxton and a Ducati Paul Smart LE with Zard exhaust that had a similar look. I no longer have the Thruxton, but still own the PS. Your new RS version is even better than the Thruxton R I was considering. Again, congrats!

The forerunner of my R100CS which I posted in #420 of the "Show Us Your Motocycle" thread (along with my original Triumph T100R). Always felt the R100CS was too 'leisurely' in its approach to motorcycling. The only BMW I've owned (though my brother owned a Simpson and his original '70 R75/5 until last year).

I owned a few Ducati bikes. An 848 EVO and a Pikes Peak edition Multistrada. Brilliant bikes but neither developed into a long term relationship. Bikes are like people, you have to click with them and that’s not always easy to put into words. It just is or it’s not… scratch2: |

Nice Ducs. I totally agree with you when it comes to clicking with a bike or not. Bikes do have, for lack of a better term, different personalities. I know you get it. For some people, especially people who have never ridden, it's hard to describe when they ask why I have several different bikes. I also like that GT-R rear end in the photo. How do you like it?
