Jim, they're not any warmer to the touch than the 160.5s. But, there are now four chassis and thus more surface area that radiates heat. It's never bothered me but I'll see if I change my tune this August/September.
Right now, soundstage and separation are incredible. Yeah Jeff this will hold me over for a bit . |

I think I have about 400 hours on the Xs300s and they've gotten smoother, but were still damn good out of the box. Enjoy!
