Default Krell audio teaming up with Acura

On an Acura forum it was revealed that Acura will debut their new RLX with a Krell audio OEM system. Will be interesting to see who the real manufacturer is. Krell is now getting into OEM audiol

My wife is wanting a new SUV next year, maybe they'll put the option on the redesigned MDX too.

I'm not the biggest fan of Acura's overall build quality. The two I owned just didn't hold up over time, not sure I would trust the quality of the Stereo. You cant beat the Mark Levinson system in a Lexus for the price.

I've never heard the ML system in the Lexus but I've read great reviews about it.

I'm more interested in the new MB "FrontBass" system. The sound in my Acura RL is very good, but I think the ELS system in other models is better.

That said, I'm looking forward to hearing the new Krell system and trying the RLX hybrid. I've always had great luck with Honda and Acura.

OEM car audio & the car audio industry has been miserable for the last ten years.

I would like to see 60dB ambient noise at highway speeds & more high-end audio in autos.

Interesting development. Wonder if Acura is moving away from Bose.

Acura moved from Bose years ago. Bose was only supplying the Japan made RL up until a couple years ago. Acura has been sourcing from Panasonic (ELS) for awhile now. The ELS is no slouch and is comparable with the aftermarket in sonics, but not power.
