Default chessman's Sigma HC power cords

I have bought two(!) Sigma HC power cords for my amp. The BAT VK-600SE is a true dual mono design right down to two separate power cords. Since I only have one adapter, I have to break them in one at a time. The first one has spent 168 hours on a fan. The second one has just gone on - so another week of anxious waiting.

I confess the wait is killing me. I am not good at waiting. I posted a couple of teaser pics (http://www.audioaficionado.org/gener...771-whats.html) to try to vent the tension, but I am still tense. I really, really hope these make a big enough difference to justify the cost.

I flirted briefly with the idea of trying the cooked cord on something else, but I am afraid to disrupt more than I have to and even more afraid I would like it. Can't buy a third cord right now.

I did not have the patience to cook the cables, I've recently added three Sigma HC to the three amps and one Sigma Analogue to the pre amp.
I just plug it to the system and let the system cook it and feel the music quality change over time.

Enjoy the difference is space, depth, quietness amongst others. Because the cable makes your system so much more accurate, you'll start to ask, what is the next thing in the system that needs to change to make it better? As for me, it's now down to speaker cables, but that's got to wait.

Same here. I just plug them in, and let the both of us get acclimated to each other.

I asked my audio store to burn my cables in for me. It took me four days before I could pick them up at the store. I bought two Sigma HC's for the amps and two Alpha HC's for the C500T and SP3. I already had an Alpha digital on the MCD1100, but I have found I prefer the Alpha HC to the Alpha digital cable. I am still surprised that these cables make such an improvement - more detail, more width, depth, and punch. I have not been a believer in power cables until now.
