This is a topic that could be discussed a little bit. As a public forum
there are certain responsibilities to what we want to say and how
we say them. It is a great forum where we all learn a lot from
other experiences/experiments/ideas, but one should not exploit
it to the extend of causing potential damages. As a example, a
professional reviewer has the obligation to be truthful and
respectful enough to avoid incurring in damaging the image of
the company responsible for that product, since the comments
may have a very broad reach.

Now, since the MEN220 is such a new product and with its
acronym being so unique, there are not many hits coming up
when someone does a search. If on top of that we add the
search keyword "problem" or "issue", then of course, most
of the results will point back to here. So I think we should,
or at least, we could be more sensible while describing what
we see.

I agree that most of the MEN220 owners are in the desperate
side to get a resolution, but this is just one extra factor to take
into consideration. The car analogy was a good one. Many cars
have certain recalls, they get fixed and people move on. When
the car is definately not right as in a lemon car, then the
possibility to get an exchange is always there. I think this belongs
to a recall situation and maybe the procedures within dealers and
the company are not just there and the wait and delay in the
response is more the issue now rather than the fault.

Hi, no I don't have one (I wished I had one even if it sounds kind
of ironic) but I think my comment is valid regarless having it or
not. No offense to Vesuvius, just pointing out that we all have to
be a little bit sensible, that's all.

Sorry, piolaxo - but I do not believe in protecting corporations in the same way you do. If they screw up, they deserve to get vetted, just like any actual human.

The purpose of the post was to let the McSpys know that their new piece of gear has the wrong type of attention for those looking to search for more info on it.
