Colleen and I arrived home from vacation Saturday minus our luggage. SW did a good job tracking down our bags and getting them to us late that evening. We had a great time on the RC Oasis of the Sea and stopped in Nausea , St Thomas & St Marten. Our trip was ended on a sad note, half way between St T. & Nausea (heading home) a 35 yr old man went over-board and was not found. Details are sketchy but it is thought there was a domestic dispute. The ship lingered 7hrs searching and was released when Coast-Guard planes arrived to continue the search. There were video clips on the web of the accident, they were graphic and caution is recommended if viewed. Very sad, prayers to the family.

Was this on the Oasis of the Sea? I thought I saw that on the news, glad you guys had a good trip though, been on that ship and it is amazing.

I still do not see how someone goes flying off a ship, yes way sad!

sorry about that

Many folks stop in Nausea regardless of where they cruise.

Yes, we were on the Oasis of the Sea (Royal Caribbean). The railings are chest high and seems to me impossible to go overboard unless one is doing something inappropriate. We have never had something like this happen in years of cruising.
