David,
Four Monitor Audio PL300's, and the PL350C. I sometimes switch out a pair of the PL300's with a pair of PL100's for the rears. Then the PL300's go into my smaller two channel system, 9X12 room, with a pair of MC501's. If I had a bigger room for my HT, or if used my HT system more often, I might have kept the 501's. One is certainly going to get an appreciable difference in listening levels form the MC501's compared to the MC205/207 if the amps are pushed, but I never did that. If the amps aren't pushed I don't know that a difference exists. When one downsizes, they can also give their friend Alberto a great deal on a pair of MC501's.

Most of the time the pre amp is set to around 32 to 40. Almost never over 50 as I have efficient speakers. The MC207 is plenty of amp. for me right now and I am only using a 6.1 set up now. By the way I have been playing around with the panarama adjustment so you balane out the center channel music going to the front left and right when in music 1 and it does make a huge difference watching blu ray concerts. Instant sound stage without moving the speakers
I have also been adjusting the trim of the front to back surround with the remote from my listening position. You care really tweek the sound from your chair on the fly.
