MX120 DAC Input
Is it better to use the digital coax input on the MX120 then the analog input of standard blu ray players for 2 channel ? I was planning hooking both the coax out and the 7 analog outs on the blu ray and hooking them up as two separate audio sources but I was not sure what to do about 2 channel ?
Is the MX120 DAC better then the DAC on the MVP871 ?

David, does your Blu-ray player have balanced analog 2 channel outputs? If so, you might consider hooking it up as I have done with my MVP871. I have my MVP871 hooked up to my MX135 with the multi-channel analogs and the optical digital, and I have the coaxial digital connected to the MDA1000 and the balanced 2 channel analogs connected to the C1000.
My sense is that there is very little difference between the DAC's on the MX120 and the MVP871, but you still need to connect the MVP analog outs to the MX120 for SACD playback. I use the multi-channel outputs for multi-channel SACD's and the 2 channel balanced outputs to my C1000 for 2 channel SACD's.
