ES-Link 5 also, that's new.
Esoteric have dropped AK4497 from D1X, they are using their own design DAC chip in the new D1X. That comes as a surprise.

That is going to be one amazing DAC chip I have a feeling...

If you read carefully they also seem to say currently alot around the C1 and M1 not supporting ES-LINK Analog...I would hazard a guess that 2019 will also bring C1X and M1X based upon how they worded this...thanks for posting!

Probably an FPGA. That seems to be the trend and all for the better

They didn't say FPGA in the marketing material, they said their own DAC chip.
