That's right, Chevrolet Suburban has been around since 1933! It is the longest surviving vehicle and nameplate in history as of today. No interruptions and without need to replace the model with a successor.

Let's journey through its history, all 11 Generations of the Suburban.


1933
Produced but just one year, this half ton chassis with mostly wood construction would set the Suburban on its journey forward.







1934
Three rows of seats made this vehicle which was known as the “Carry All Suburban” a highly functional vehicle and the wood was mostly replaced by sheet metal for the body. Convenient side hinged rear panel doors or the option of a rear tailgate and lift window were the innovations that made it possible to access the rear cargo area.







1935 First Generation

From 1935 through 1936, the Chevrolet Carryall Suburban was produced in a two door wagon style
