Well, the man is back ..... fiercer than ever!

The new amps, 300 watts monoblocks! Double all the way down to 1.2kw at 2 Ohm.

Preamp to follow.

Howie Bro, maybe this should be the amp driving your lovely SF Stradivari Palladio's!

US$42k per pair only! Cheap to your standards! Buy, buy, buy !!!

At $42k a pair no wonder they booted his butt from Krell. Maybe they are just the get your attention piece of gear and the trickle down gear to follow will be at a reasonable price point.

He probably has a few legal fees to pay off.

$42,000 a pair, no way. Far too many other spectacular amplifiers out there at that price point from companies that have been in business longer than a few months. The two tone chassis doesn't appeal to me, either. Looks like Dan took his design cues from Ayre.

Now Dan is gone Bill is running Krell. I was an early adapter of the 707 and it had some early issues before the duo processor chip was completed. I got to know Bill pretty well and by the way he handled my issues I am glad he is in charge..... I would have to guess that Dan's amp is a kin to the EVO One in a single chassis, if it is a class"A" amp.

He must be proud of this amp. He managed to get his name on the face of it twice.

The amp certainly looks different. 40k is a lot that is true, BUT Dan has been in this bussiness for more than 30 years, so you cannot really compare it to any other startups.

The look of this amp is ... well, different. A bit French. It has certainly grown on me since I first seen it yesterday.

Anyway, I wish him all the best.

BTW - has he lost his case against Krell ? Anyone knows the outcome of this legal battle ?
