I agree. While other former players are able to tell you why something happened, he takes it one step forward by telling you what WILL happen based on the formations. It was unbelievable how often he was right yesterday.

I moved to Dallas 18 years ago from San Francisco, and I've had a hard time becoming a Cowboys fan. I will admit I never appreciated Romo as a QB (too fragile), but as a color commentator he has quickly risen to the top of them all in my book. It's almost like he has the sideline headset on the way he predicts plays or points out vulnerabilities. He's amazing!

Looking forward to his commentary on the Super Bowl.

I don't watch much pro football (a big college football fan) but I did catch the last half of the first game and then most of the second game. I didn't know who the color commentator was until halftime when I found out it was Romo. I agree with others here he is setting a new standard for commentators. He wasn't waiting to tell you what just happened, the was telling you ahead of time what would happen if Brady saw a specific defense or coverage. He was correct so many times.

Being a die hard Saints here in Baton Rouge, I was sick to my stomach after the game. Devastated actually. Never before has a loss affected me so much, not even the perpetual beat downs Alabama puts on LSU compares to this. I felt clinically depressed for a few hours. Hard to shake. This was to be our year. I’m actually surprised so many have been appalled by the no call PI. Yes it would have served up the SB on a platter had it been called but we were at home, 116 dB crowd, and we couldn’t close the deal by stopping LA or scoring a TD in OT. And agree with earlier comment, the play calling on those 3 plays in red zone was poor. I wanted another SB for Drew as bad as he wanted it for Louisiana. The dude is simply amazing at 40 years old and 6’0” tall!!

Default Excellent product by the NFL in the Conference Championships

I want to understand how the NFL came up with an overtime policy that after earning the right to make the semi finals after 17 games, then tying after 60 minutes in that game, one team loses by virtue of losing a coin toss when the other team goes on to a TD. How can you end a game without giving the other team at least a chance? I think that policy stinks.

I agree with you even though I am glad the Pat's won the game. Even the college OT rules would be better.

I agree. Each college team gets a chance to score. No sudden death.
