Default Wattgate Evolution Audio Grade Receptacles

There is unfortunately very little coverage for those receptacles/outlets on the 'net. They seem to be of high quality. I would be curious and interested to know what those who uses them think about them, and if they like them (or not). There are two variants, the rhodium and gold plated.

Thanks!

Serge-

I have not used these Wattgate receptacles. I have used their plugs; IEC and Edison; standard and audio grade (depending on the cable) for DIY power cables. The overall quality is good on par with Furetech I'd say.

I use PS Audio receptacles that are nickel plated brass. While most likely not of the same measureable conductivity as the Wattgate, the price is much more reasonable and they provide a very solid grip.

Looking at the build, I agree that these are nicely built and should be considered. These and others in the same league are much better than contractor grade.

I am favoring Gold over Rhodium, seems to be a bit warmer.

Just contacted Wattgate with a flurry of questions about those. The Wattgate website gives good technical informations but in the end, it's the sonic that matters. I will see their reply.
