I heard that Julian already has a full size replica of The Ark next to his pool. He had to move it out of the Pool House to make room for another audio system.

Well, I just ordered a pair of Pass Labs X600.5 amps to drive my Aerial Acoustics 7Ts. Hopefully, it is a perfect match. They sound pretty darn good with my current Cambridge-Audio 840W amps in bridged mono mode, and Pass should be better.

I can't see how you won't like them - I am very happy with my Pass/Aerial combo. Did you consider the XA100.5? The X600.5 may be overkill for the 7T. In any case, you'll have a set of world class amps ready to go when the upgrade bug bites!

Thanks. Looking forward to when they arrive. I don't think the amps will be overkill. Power is like money. You can never have enough.

I think you'll enjoy the Pass monoblocks. I have a more humble version, the X250.5, and I love how it drives my speakers. One thing though, it runs hot. Enjoy!

Additional wood finishes could enhance the terrific 7T even more if at a upcharge. Curly maple or smooth black would look great. Maybe down the road.

I would like to ask for your advise on speakers. I have been on a search for speakers…

I auditioned the Magico S1 and S5 yesterday and actually like the coherence and sound of the S1 more. Of course the S5 has deeper and more volumous bass..

The other speakers on my list are the Focal Scala, Aerial Acoustics 7T and the Rockport Mira 2.. I will be auditioning the 7T and the Scala later.

I listen to everything except Hard Rock and electronics.. My listening room is about 5 x 7m. height is are 3m.

Any advise and opinion will be very much appreciated. Thank you
