Great looking room. I am mid process on mine (at the bottom of the checking account, but still mid process).

Question - what was your thought process on wall to wall carpet? Aesthetically, I would prefer hard wood with an oriental rug, but sound wise, I can’t make up my mind. Consistent advice I have heard is natural wool, whichever way one goes.

Thanks. Congrats again - wine and fine sounds on me when we’re done with this thing (at that point, I will only be able to afford grocery store wine).

I knew going into the room project, I room would sound very “live”.
I did a very thick underpad and carpeted wall to wall.
With wall and ceiling treatments,on the advice of the sound engineer who built most of the panels, we left a lot of blank space so the room wouldn’t sound too dead.

For this project and the less then optimal room dimensions, it was the right move.

Thanks. I have pretty good dimensions, so may go with hardware and an area rug just to preserve flexibility.

As I said before on my post, your room looks amazing!

What brand of product is that in the middle and what model? I am referring to the wood sculpture diffusers between the Apertures.

Thanks,

Mark

Thanks..good Polish company (!)...thought they were familiar but was not sure. Saw and heard the results of their products in many rooms in Munich last May. They truly work as advertised...

One last question...of all their products, all the 1D, 2D and Skyscraper, how did you determine and / or calculate which was best for your room?

In Munich 2019, many rooms used the extra large Skyscraper units which come in pieces and weight many hundreds of pounds but the other rooms all used the 2D products for the most part. Wondering how you arrived at the choice of the 2D/19+1/120 QRD.

Thanks again...tried to send an IM but system would not allow it....
