thank you wonderful folks for the warm welcome!

My set up is a modest one compared to you big boys.

The speakers are Guru QM60s from sweden. | Guru Loudspeakers

Amps are from wyred4sound,though i will be upgrading to the ayon triton ii and have already booked my unit. Gotta love tubes with vinyl!

triste15.......Welcome to Audio Aficionado.

The Guru QM60 looks like a very interesting full range speaker. It is a unique design.

Indeed a nice looking TT/TA. Micro Seiki did not go 'out of business' when they stopped building TTs. Only that part of their business. When the CD came out with its 'perfect sound' and vinyl sales dropped off to almost nothing in the '80s, Micro Seiki simply stopped building vinyl rigs. We used many of their high quality turbo pumps (think 100K rpm and higher on small pumps) in the semiconductor and research industries and they were as good as their high end TT/TAs. Don't know if they are still in business as a stand-alone company as they were primarily an OEM supplier and may have been absorbed into one of the larger semiconductor process equipment manufacturers in Japan. Would be nice to see them back into the TT/TA business. Can't have too many good suppliers.
