The music moved my soul after a 1 year absence
After a year where I moved into and completely renovated a foreclosed and dilapidated home, had a near fatal health crisis, and retired because of said health issues, I finally set up my entire system today.
From November 2016 to October 2017, I had no system deployed. Since late October, I had been using my ATI 6007 amplifier with my new Revel Salon2’s. It sounded good, but lacked a bit of what my B&W’s with the Mark Levinson amplifiers had. I couldn’t be sure if it was the new room, the new speakers, the time lapse without any system, my emotional state, or whatever, but it was less than I had been accustomed to hearing. Well, today I did the heavy lifting of unboxing and racking the Mark Levinson No. 536’s. Viola! The magic is back! I was so afraid that the personal circumstances had taken the joy out of the music for me, but the lump in my throat during a favorite tune dispelled that! I am so pleased that the Love of Music is not over for me! Don’t take it for granted gentlemen, try to make time to enjoy it! |

I can relate to that feeling Mike. I took a 3 year break from music and high end audio myself. Feels good to enjoy music again.

That is good to hear that you're back to music. Sorry for the reasons that made you living without it.
Music soothes our soul and body.
