Your OLD Systems!!
Thought it would be fun to show pics of our old systems from the past.
This is a shot of mine in 1996 - Genesis II.5 speakers, Spectral 180 amp and 20 preamp, MIT770 cables, Sony XA7es cd, Pioneer Elite CLD-99 Laserdisc, Sony SLV-R1000 S-VHS, Sony 65XBR tv.

wow...that's your 20-year old system! what's your latest system? i know thats not the point of this thread...but sure would like to know! That 'old system' is pretty awesome!
...oh and my first proper system 20-years ago was: Celestion SL6si, Velodyne F1200, Denon Integrated, NAD 5000CD player, Audioquest Crystal and Emerald ICs.

I don't have any photos of my first system, but it comprised
Connoisseur BD-1 turntable on custom plinth, SME 3009 S2 Improved arm, Shure V15 III, Practical Wireless Texan 20+20W kit amplifier, Acoustic Research AR4xa speakers, Wharfedale IsoDynamic headphones. The Connoisseur quickly gave way to the LP12 beater, the Fons CQ30. Ah, those were the days...

About 5 years ago or so....
 let's see...that's a Samsung 55" DLP on top. Below that we have a Wii and a Sonos unit flanking a single Vienna Acoustics Maestro center channel. Next row includes a Pioneer Elite DVD player, a Panamax M5300 power center, a Motorola STB and a Denon AVR-2805. On the bottom we find a Rotel RMB-1075 5-ch amplifier and a small stockpile of cables. When I took this picture I was on the verge of this:  Oh what fun that was...

I'm pretty new to this, I don't have an "old system", but I do like the idea of this thread and I am interested to see if Ivan (and others) can locate those old pics!
I also agree, your old system seems pretty awesome to me.

FRO.......This was my sound system in January 2006. All gear was purchased new. I owned this system for 13 years with the exception of replacing a MCD7009 with the MCD205.
