Default C 2110 + 2x A35 + Dp550

Hallo,

I will try this "combo":
C 2110 (or2420) + 2x A35 + Dp550 with the B&W802Diamond.

Please can you give a opinion?

Sorry for stupid question...one 460 or 560 with one A35 and the Dp550 (and B&W802di) can work too?

Thank you in Advance,
Style

The 460 has the grunt, the B&W are inefficient so the 460 would suit the power.

I would remove the DP550 and opt for computer playback. It's cheaper and a lot better than a spinning drive, even from Accuphase.

The C2410 has dual XLR outs, quite handy for dual-amping setups for the future so there's no restriction there, whereas the C2110 is the single, and suit one (stereo) power amp only.

Both the 460 and 560 have pre-outs, but are unbalanced just limiting some choice there.

I have the E-450 and looking at the C2410 for remote audio using the XLR. Very happy with the E-450, not going to trade any time soon, still got an E-205 that won't be sold either.

Hi Style:

I auditioned the 802 Diamonds with my old A-20v. It sounded great but is limited a little if you have a large room. The A-35 isn't too much more powerful so you'll have the same issue. Bridged (BTL) would certainly give you some more volume.

94turbo3.6 runs a couple A-30s in BTL and he would be able to give you some good advice.

You find that the 460 is not enough to drive the 802di? In dont' agree. is enough. of course maybe at the limit but they sound good as well!
I have listen the 802di with the 560 too and are really not bad.

Accuphase is not my favorit cd-player: a esoteric k03 or a emmlabs or Meitner ma2 is better but I love and I will have a cd palyer: I use 2 apple macbookpro for "liquid music" a retina with ssd HD and a "normal" no retina:yes nice but I dont can stay with a cd palyer.

a preampli Accuphase with 2 xlr input for connect 2 pieces A35 amplifier is sure a good ombo for the B&W.

You find the B&W802di a bad speaker?

other? in the same price-range?

I love a Magico S5 (in Switzerland a S5 in not so expensive like a good Wilson Sasha -> S5 vs. Sasha? with the S5 I save more from 4k. $)

@wawa_chan: a single A35 is limited...but a couple of A35 in bi-amp or briged i think will be enough.....

I will have a hifi system with cd player too? (only with liquid music)?

Liquid music is always in evolution:today 192hz.....(with "software/tracks" avialable but the 392 and more in 1 or 2 years are a standart....today a Dac 192/24bit can be a Top gear...in 6 month is old!!!!

I recently replaced my Accuphase DP-500 cd player for a Meitner MA-2. I agree: much better and more flexible (DSD files with the usb connection!).

I agree 100% the Meitner/Emmlabs is really much better as the Accuphase in cd player source.
