Digital Shindo

Ok, I know Shindo doesn't do digital and many Shindo guys don't do digital. But I figured, hey, enough controversy on this board. Let's all enjoy my shiny new ceedee player. It's Shindoesque anyway.

Very nice player. What is it? The idea of being all analogue is nice but I have a lot of great music only on digital and I love sitting on my patio listening to music I can control from the palm of my hand.

Very cool looking! How does it sound?

I listen to a lot of CDs through my rig. Some of them sound fantastic. I am lusting after one of these that get very good reviews and are locally made - Antipodes High-End Digital Sources & High-End Music Servers

Well, you made me a false joy.
Anyway I know that Shindo won't come out with a Dac or a cd player.
How should sound a digital Shindo ? As good as our TT played through our Shindo preamp. Is this the case with your new cd player ?
From the various reviews I read, and at a demo in Paris, Playback Designs are the most analog like sounding digital products.
Have an appointment next week to compare my MDA a Playback player ( the small one ) and we will compare both to the LP version.

Not the full set up. I used to own the dac and I wish I never sold it. I wanted to get back to zanden but most definitely had no interest in 50k+ worth of CD player.
