Very impressive in person. I thought they were really ugly from photos I had seen on Internet, though in person, they are quite nice. The Piano black finish is a whole different level from the previous version. I viewed the old 802D2 next to this one and the new one is like a mirror and the old is quite poor by comparison. Reflections are fuzzy in old version and the black is much deeper in the new one. Sound is really, really good.

The new models look great and I like how they are modern looking. If I didn't have the room for the slightly larger 802D3s then these would be it.

He's already bought the Sabrinas... he's got Wilson running through his veins now. Hehehe
He will be happy with the Sabrinas. |

:-) I wouldn't go that far. But I am strongly considering grabbing a pair of the 805 D3s for our Living room.
I was thoroughly impressed by the sound. No brightness, bass boominess or etch of any kind. Really well done by B&W. |

I saw the new 802D3 at my dealer this afternoon. I think the speakers look better than the previous iterations. The appear to be a bit smaller and the piano black finish was outstanding.
