Just picked up some 804 Diamonds. Using Testament to break them in.

Well my 802d2's are finally opening up. The bass is present and the mids are definitely sweeter.

Looking forward to receiving the WW cable set and then a 7 day x 24h burn-in.

Default good right out of the box

My New 800 Diamonds sounded good immediately after unpacking them, that must be a good sign
Any improvements over time is most welcome!

I just received my 800 Diamonds 3 days ago, I noticed the mids and highs sounded great right out of the box, they sound even better now 3 days later. The bass is what has improved the most in the last 3 days, out of the box the bass was not very detailed. I have 25 hours on them right now. Straight from the owners manual 'as a guide allow up to a week for the temperature effects to stabilize, and 15 hours of average use for the mechanical parts to attain their intended design characteristics'.
If they continue to improve I will not complain!

Just picked up a pair of 803D2's to replace my decade old 803S's. Can hardly wait for the detail and bass to come forth. I hate break-in.
