ok, got the Wilson's singing with the BAT gear now. At first I really seen the dark side that you guys educated me on. I was really worried that they sounded great but the air in the upper frequency and all wasn't there at all. It was just flat. So I say, let them play so this was my out of the box feeling. I was missing the Mc2301's at that moment. Now with just over 100 hours on them, they upper freq is really starting to show its colors. I hear these amps need 400 hours to break in but at 25% of that they are really starting to sing. The extra power of these amps over the 2301's is a welcome addition to the Sasha. I will post more as the Vk600M-SE amps break in but at this juncture they are really starting to sing with the Sasha.

Nothing against the Mcintosh stuff, I loved my 2301's but I just thought it was time to move on. I never really considered buying more Mcintosh gear it was time to move. I had no doubt the Rex was on my wish list and I just wanted to marry Bat with Bat on the amps. They are singing very nicely now after 150 hours or so maybe a tad more. It's as natural and pure as I've ever heard. Not to dark at all. My wife even said she loves it. She will actually go down and ask me to put something on for her like Norah Jones, Frank Sinatra, or some Classical Symphony stuff. It is sounding so good and I'm definitely hearing little things in the stage that I never heard prior to the Bat gear. I've also made some adjustments to the acoustics and got some new stuff in but most of that was here with the 2301's. I have to admit I was a bit worried when I first listened to these amps but now they are very nice and if they get any better over the next 300 hours then that is a bonus. I have Critical Mass racks on the way and can't wait to hear if they will actually make a difference.

Tomorrow I will be going to listen to the Sasha's in someones home for a couple of hours. He has a pretty heavy duty analog set-up based upon Nick Doshi pre-amp and mono blocks along an SME 30-2 turntable and a very nice Koetsu cartridge. He knows I do not lean towards tubes or vinyl but wants me to hear this package. I will let you know how it goes.

Sasha Picture
Hi every Sasha'a Afacionado,
first of all I would like to wish to everyone a happy New Year from Brussels. I hope that 2010 will do I become a Sasha owner . I hesitate with the color. I have seen already Sasha in black, but never in Dark Titanium. Has anyone this color and would it be possible to send or publish some pictures in that colour? Many thanks, Jean-Paul |

Ok I've been following this thread for the last 11 pages. I would like to hear some opinions on whether any one who bought the Sasha did a comparison to the Hansen Audio prince v2 before their final purchase ? I know before there were articles that did shoot outs between Wilson 8's and the Princes. It seems like this is the year of the Sasha. I have yet to hear them. No speaker change in my future. But after reading Tone Pub on the amplifier shootout the Burmester is on my radar screen.
