Glenn, we shot Blue Ridge last weekend, they had a pair of quartering rabbits (going away) that started 30 yards out ! I was thrilled to get 4 out of 6 !!

I haven't actually been clay shooting in a VERY long time. But I used an ancient Savage 755A then. My brother is the big Beretta fanatic.

Those things actually work quite well. I started out with a "hand flinger" ~55yr ago. Cocked it, dropped in one or two clays and then swing it side-arm. Also worked quite well. Not like a motor-driven trap, but good practice.

We have a pretty nice one here in town. They also have pistol and rifle ranges. Keep meaning to join up but life happens and I either forget or get too busy.
