Sandbites, yes LED illumination. No issues with mine, although I have cross talk between inputs before.

I just purchased a Schiit yggy and have been happy with how it has worked with the c2300 and MC402.

Go for it, it is a highly regarded preamp here by those of us who own or have owned one. I have zero itch to "upgrade" it.

Thank you for the advice everyone, I’m gonna hunt for a c2300 as soon as I sell my C220. Can’t do it now as I’m taking delivery of my LINN Majik with lingo 4.
