I'm trying the US beta version. After numerous issues with their Windows app, which I finally solved, I'm enjoying it immensely--they have a huge classical selection. My main gripes are 1) many titles that are listed as 26/96 or 192 actually only playback at 16/44.1 (it usually says "available at 24/192"--might mean if one pays for a download?) and 2) some tracks are grayed out and only play for a few seconds--I guess that's a regional licensing issue? Anyway, I hope both of these clear up once they present the full release.

Regarding resolution, there is a setting in your Qobuz account to force highest resolution when available.

I have it set for 24/192. After posting, I messaged the Qobuz people via Facebook and got this reply:

"Hi John, certain releases in our catalog are available for Hi-Res download but not Hi-Res streaming due to our licensing agreements with rights holders. There is a bug which causes these releases to be mistakenly displayed as Hi-Res on our streaming platform, and we are working to fix it as soon as possible."

Here in Europe, less than 10% are mistakenly displayed as hi-res while they stream at 16/44.1.
Once Qobuz is launched for good in the US, I guess/hope you'll have pretty much the same library.

Truth be told, the 16/44.1 sounds perfectly good as long as the source was well recorded, which is always the limiting factor. Of course, superbly recorded 24/96 or 192 is even better, but I've heard some that didn't sound that great--no doubt a function of a less than stellar master tape.

Looks like it's publicly available in 2 days, I got an email for a free trial and when I signed up it kept telling me it's not ready until 2/14. It let me sign up anyway! Funny.

I've been on the US Beta, Studio for a few weeks now and so far, liking it. With ROON I, having some selection issues, but without ROON I haven;t had any real issues.

I don't detect any changes with the full US release. Maybe because they don't have my $24.95 yet? (About 10 days left on my free trial.) My main complaint is many files listed as hi-res still play back at 44.1. They said they are working on the glitch that causes the problem, but they sure are slow!

A little off topic, but I was wondering if anyone else has experienced the lack of artist photos when doing an artist search using Qobuz through the Aurender conductor app. If so, how did you get it fixed?
