Default F-117 Nighthawk Inbound

In keeping with the minimalist (small size) rebuild of my system have decided to give a Ray Samuels F-117 Nighthawk a try. Rechargeable battery powered.

Should have in a week, or so. Do like the layout of the controls.

Nice ... let us know how you like it and how it sounds. Decent price for what looks like a pretty solid phono pre!

I like the separate gain controls for each channel.

Arrived and breaking-in, which will take some time due to travel commitments over the next couple of months. Seems smaller then I had imagined, which is nice as I look to minimize the physical size of everything (how does one shrink LPs ) in my system. Using the 100ohm & next-to-top gain settings for the AT33R LOMC am using to break in. Excellent sound with the quiet background being the most notable feature at the moment.

I had one for awhile, a very nice phono stage. Does not like ultra low output voltage cartridges, but that is the only limitation I am aware of. Pretty nice phono stage for not a lot of greenbacks.

Cheers
