Default Aurieges TV input - any other use?

I am wondering if you guys have any experience using other than TV input into the TV connection? Possibly a cassette player, second TT or CD?

Thanks!
Laz

I had an Auriges and used the TV input (strange label) for any regular (Line Level) device. There's nothing special about it ... it's just another Line Level input (as opposed to the phono inputs that have additional amplification and RIAA equalization.)

If you want to plug a second TT into it, you'll need a phono stage though. Might buy an inexpensive one for $200-300 and have a perfect setup for playing those less than perfect records with a cheaper stylus. That's what I do.

Hope this helps,

Alberto

Why not use it as TV as intended?

I use the Shindo system only for listening in a different room.

I tried today the TV input with my PONO player. Sounds very nice!
