Of course, now I do not believe anymore in their "measures" and after reading all the posts here, I do not even believe anymore in the quality of those tubes. I am even thinking of sending back the whole set and ask for a complete refund.

Checked on their web site and no refunds are possible. They only replace the faulty tubes.
I will have the other tubes tested to see if they are matched and correspond to their measures but I may know the answer already....

No Dan.
Psvane replied immediately and asked me to ship back the full quad set where the faulty tube is. They will send an other quad.
Lots of work these days and my son's Bar Mitsva next week may make it difficult to test the tubes ( I have no tester so I have to see a friend and I 'm not sure if I want to disturb JC Verdier with that ) so I think I will do as they say.
Something is sure though : I won't put these tubes in the CCQ amps. Only in the Snappers where biasing control takes 2 seconds per tube. Biasing the CCQ has to be done internally !

What a shame, I regret posting that pic of these tubes now ......although I was completely satified with the 12au7's I ordered from them. They may now consider my prospective EL34 order cancelled thou. I hope they make this right for you Jerome!

Let me try them in my Snappers and I will report if they are better or not than the very good Tung Sol EL34B's.

Please keep us posted Jérôme - I was considering trying out a set of their 6SN7 tubes for my ModWright gear to see how they compare with the Sophia Electrics. I will hold off on that for now...besides the Sophias sound excellent!
