As good as my Focal 806vs are, I will be getting a pair of Vento 820.02. Looking forward to pairing them with a Jolida JD202 tube integrated amp. I have no way to audition these first, so I guess you could say I'm going in blind.

I have a feeling I won't be disappointed.

David Lewis Audio in Philly carries Canton.

They have the largest variety of high end gear I have ever seen.

It is surely worth stopping by. Give him a call because he keeps odd hours.

They also have the 1 and 7. I stumbled across them awhile ago. They have just been too big to worry about returning if I didn't like them.

Nice find - one of the most overlooked / under represented brands here in the US over the past 10 years in my opinion. Enjoy the Reference 5's!

Sounds close to B&W 803D3 (different room in store)with lot less money, the Canton have more bass (can be the room Best buy). To my hears, some can think different. I really happy with my system.

I couldn't agree with you more, Roni! And the ceramic tweeter in the Vento and previous Reference lines is incredible. Very little toe-in and you get an incredibly deep and wide soundstage. Pretty tough to beat Canton in the bass department, too!

New to the forums here.

I have a pair of the Vento Reference 1 DC's. The synergy between those speakers and my McIntosh MA8000 is tight. The right source material renders spine tingling and hair raising involvement with these Cantons.

Once I'm sufficiently credentialed here, I'll post some pics.
