Mark, The Stereophile Review of the 75 is stellar and betters the retire RF110 but never compares to the REF150. Do your homework, he never compares to the REF150 and it is because it was product of the year and he said is the best sounding amplifier ....., read it is a great review. I also heard the 75 with Raidho D2, Magico S1 and man the 75 was out of steam. I know you are very happy with the REF75, but have a listen to the REF150 and you will find out is a better match to the Sasha. Again this is just a suggestion and by all means it is up to you, either way you are going in the right direction and welcome to the ARC family.

I have not done the comparison but speaking to 2 dealers about Alexia (which may be in my distant future) both of whom sell ARC gear---both said Alexias really need Ref 250s although they said Ref 150s could drive them but missed quite a bit of grip on the low end. OTOH Ken Kessler of HiFi News I believe purchased the Alexias and Ref 75. If I were in the purchasing position, I'd go Ref 150 as you simply cannot waste and IMHO will hear the extra power with Wilson Sashas or Alexias (or any Wilsons other than Duettes and Sophias for that matter).

If I were buying for Sashas or Alexia I would buy the Ref 150 over the Ref 75 hands down. Every time I have heard the Sashas or Alexias with greater wattage and/or current from the same manufacturer, the more powerful amp sounds better.

I'm sure you guys are right, it comes down to $$$ and what is "good enough". I need to sell this mc stuff first and then do some soul searching. Hot tub? Or more watts? Lol

Thanks 2fast! It fits me... "Odd" and like us all, in to music in a big way. Just miss my tubes so enjoying this discussion in deep "envy" mode. Hoping sometime next year to jump back in after many years sans tubes. For over 40 years in this crazy hobby I have desired ARC electronics but shied away for one reason or another. My tube amp has been in its box for about 8 years now due to space limitations, sadly. However, getting to the point where I am bout oh just say the heck with it all and just buy the preamp which will be the last one I'll buy sometime N/Y... Ref 5SE. So am enjoying this immensely. RLF and I are friends. He us a good guy with a great system + knows his stuff.
