My 252 came in today! It will be paired by XR50...unfortunately, the Speakers won't be delivered until Friday!

Glad it has a real Tube pre-amp and not just a fake buffer stage that glows pretty.

Could totally be a contender for the work system once I get my office moved and expanded.

Maybe someone can share, can you run it OK without the cages on the tubes? Looks too much like a Sci-Fi and less like Hi-Fi for my taste.

You have the option to not put the cages...It's there just for looks!

I don’t even have my main system setup yet and I am already considering this for a second setup in a room/office!

Here's my MA252 with XR50 Speakers!

The pair of mint XR50 speakers I bought have serial numbers of 1001/1002. Is this a collectible item?
