Question BDP-2 Output Question

James, do you ever plan on adding a "USB Audio Class 2.0" for additional output so one could use a SOTA converter like a Berkeley Audio Design Alpha USB, Bel Canto REFLink Asynchronous USB Converter and Wavelength Audio WaveLink?

James,
What about the BOT? I have a BDP-1 do I need to get a BDP-2? I am considering changing the BDA-1 to the BDA-2. Is the BDA-2 necessary for the BOT?

Hi,

The BOT needs more processing power than the BDP-1 has... so for now I would recommend the BDP-2 as the companion piece for the BOT over the BDP-1.

Engineering tells me we are going to look at possibly adding a circuit board to the BOT to allow it to be used with the BDP-1 but I can not promise that.
