I have 2 completely unrealistic dreams for directing Episode VII...

James Cameron (does great sequels)

Christopher Nolan (gives a great new spin on a current franchise and doesn't use too much CGI)

Dreaming on...

-- Like I said before; Disney might contemplate the 'comedic' aspect of it, good for the kids from all ages.
But Quentin might be too obviously deviant from it, with the color red (blood). But then, you never know ...

The "comedic" aspect... NO! NO! NO! This is what ruins most films these days (eg: Transformers) as they all go down that road and it is sooooooo difficult to do well!

And Tarantino... I know... who came up with that speculation??? Its like saying Jenna Jameson has turned down the role of Princess Leia... Where did that come from?

I know this is sacrilegeous but it might be fun with a reboot. I imagine Ep1-3 could do with one but even an updated Ep4-6. I'm not sure I can imagine someone other than Hamill, Ford or Fisher in those roles but who knows, maybe the reboot can bring something fresh.

Also, I hear R2D2 is being replaced by an iPhone with Siri.

I dunno. I'm not sure many original Trekkers were happy with the rebooted 2009 ST franchise but it definitely gave the series a much better kick in the @ss. IMHO it's much better than most of the TNG movies.
